If you have a first-grader in your family, now is the time to register for Family Centered Faith Formation. You and your child will attend class at Holy Trinity one time a month and will work together as a family on weekly homework assignments. For more information, please call the Religious Education office at 630-968-5978. The office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Can you name the Fourth Glorious Mystery of the Rosary? If you have trouble recalling any of the mysteries of the Rosary, the Summer Learning Packet is just what you need. The packet is filled with great activities for each of the months of June, July and August that will help your family to know, love and serve Jesus better. If your family did not yet receive the Summer Learning Packet, there are still some available in the Religious Education office.
This is the fifth week of the Summer Challenge and it’s not too late to start. Look for it in your Holy Trinity bulletin until August 29th. If you go on vacation, save the bulletins from the parishes you visit. It’s fun to see from how far away the bulletins come. Save your Sunday bulletins until August 29th and complete the activities for each week. Awards will be given to the School family and to the Religious Education family completing the most activities.
Do you love your Catholic Faith? YES! Would you like to pass the Faith on to others? YES! Have you ever thought about being a catechist in Family Centered Faith Formation??? The time commitment is two evenings per month—one for training and one for teaching. All lesson plans and materials are provided. For more information, please call Karen Bettinardi in the Religious Education office.
