I have always been a very devout Catholic and had a very strong faith. When the pandemic began, I felt a void not being able to worship in the church or find comfort in the adoration chapel. We still watched mass as a family weekly and prayed daily. I did read spiritual books and also watched faith-based movies as well. I loved being able to do the “Candles for a Cure” online and  to hear the messages from Father Rafal—they always made my day. When I received the email about church reopening, I knew I wanted to help the parish. I worked on the clean up crew after Masses and everyone was wonderful. In doing this ministry, it made me realize how much I loved helping the parish and now plan to continue doing so for a long time.
